2012 HOA Goals
Membership
- Institute actions to grow HOA membership to a new high (i.e., exceed 1621 members) by the end of 2012.
- Develop strategies/activities designed to bring the HOA message to Kahite homeowners and encourage increased HOA membership among Kahite residents.
Communications
- Develop and communicate a clear and concise 2012 Board Mission Statement.
- Increase communication of Village events using all available media including the HOA’s Constant Contact E-mail platform.
Social Activities
- Promote a sense of community and fellowship by planning and executing a minimum of two events per month.
- Develop strategies to attract more members to monthly Socials and more effectively communicate at Socials.
- Plan an activity that supports Tellico Village’s 25th anniversary of homeownership during 2012.
Village Affairs
- Support Village-related activities and engage in efforts designed to increase amenities usage.
- Develop strategies and structure designed to increase HOA support of Fire Department fund raising and recruiting efforts (both TVVFD and Hopewell).
- While maintaining the HOA’s arms-length relationship, work with the POA to develop “one” Tellico Village Vision including:
- Financial information required for daily operations
- Capital required to maintain current amenities
- Funding required to add or improve amenities
The result is to be to increase the understanding of Village finances by HOA members.
